3 years, 3 kinds of deer
« on: November 16, 2014, 10:09:22 AM »
Just closed my 2014 deer season. Hunted every day during early muzzleloader season passed on 4 bucks waiting for a big one. Ended up with a meat buck, freezer went dry a couple days ago. The wife was getting on me about taking what ever so i did. Happy with it should be a good eater. The trophy blacktail will come when it comes.

Trying to get all 5 deer. Next year David0 and myself are headed to P.O.W. to try and knock that one off the list. Thanks to all the people that have gave me advice for that hunt. Here are some pics of the last 3 years. 2012 modern mule deer with the black diamond. 2013 late muzzy whitetail permit with the black diamond. 2014 multi season blacktail with the encore.

Sitka next year up in Alaska. Then the coues deer in Arizona when ever i draw the late muzzleloader tag down by Mexico.I'm just trying to set goals on getting different animals. This just seemed like a slam that even a poor man could afford. So with a lot of hard work and saving I will get it done.

What about a Columbia Whitetail?  Those can be inexpensive to get....  Or really really really really expensive. :bdid:

Or you could do it legally, and relatively inexpensively in southern Oregon.
