I'd love to have an Alaknak one of these days, Jimbo....but I'm looking for one I can put in my backpack.I guess I didn't clarify that.
Golite is going through bankruptcy and a majority of the creditors that are going to get the short end are suppliers of the materials they use. If you are going to get one, now would probably be a good time.I have one of their 1-man tents and for the weight and price it is amazingly well designed and built.
I can't find one anywhere, although I haven't been looking too hard. I had a SL3 and sold it as it wasn't big enough for me. I touched the walls when I laid down in it on both ends. I am 6'4", my wife is 6'0" and my 7 year old daughter is the tallest kid in her class and also the youngest... The 5 would be big enough for us I think.
