Depends on how accurate you are and your firing position. Myself, at 70 yards. All day, I'd aim for just under the right ear

I think he is legal but I wouldn't shoot him.  What's in the background?
:yeah: The deer above him has a bigger body  :dunno:

Ha, that was my thought as well.

It depends if I was on public or private and if I knew there were more deer in the area.  Public - for sure shoot when given a good angle although maybe not on the first day if I was hunting for a week or more.  Who am I kidding, public land - boom.  Private, I might wait.  Again, it depends if I knew what was in the area or not.

Blowing the picture up makes that 3rd point look less like an antler point and more like a stick in the background.  Going with the I don't know choice.

legal and shoot
"When my bow falls, so shall the world. When me heart ceases to pump blood to my body, it will all come crashing down. As a hunter, we are bound by duty, nay, bound by our very soul to this world. When a hunter dies we feel it, we sense it, and the world trembles with sorrow. When I die, so shall the world, from the shock of loosing such a great part of ones soul." Ezekiel, Okeanos Hunter

70 yards is about 20 yards past my comfort zone so I wouldn't shoot.

I wouldn't shoot an animal that had his back turned to me.  He looks like he's legal.  But I wouldn't shoot until I got a nice, good look at him.  I like to take it slow, and let the deer show me his goods.  Plus I'm not a very good shot, so I need a good broadside view!

Legal, but I would wait for more of a broadside opportunity.  I basically don't pass any legal animal with a general season tag.
