Um, yes I would like to change my vote. I would not take that chance. Sneaky little bugger.

 :yeah:

That first angle it sure looked to be a 3 point.  Now it looks like a 2.  :o
ya wht i seen in first pic was a stick lol
would have waited anyhows so I would not have just shot on a prayer
"When my bow falls, so shall the world. When me heart ceases to pump blood to my body, it will all come crashing down. As a hunter, we are bound by duty, nay, bound by our very soul to this world. When a hunter dies we feel it, we sense it, and the world trembles with sorrow. When I die, so shall the world, from the shock of loosing such a great part of ones soul." Ezekiel, Okeanos Hunter

This is exactly why calmer heads prevail. I'm out too. Not worth it. Walking up to it after the fact would be a harsh reality. A great debate. Maybe a warden has a take on this topic.

So there was no third point , no 1" eye guards , 2x2 , what may I ask was the percentage of hunters that said yes he is legal compared to the no he is no legal, staggering hhhhmmm.webbed points do not count , has to be 1" minium that thing aint even close so. 56.5percent would have taken the shot  thats staggering, only 5.2 percent made the right call. Then everyone changed thier mind so how many would have said  nothing and leave it lay ?

Let's not jump to conclusions and make this post what it is not.  First these are pictures......in person it was easier to see multiple angles and tell it was questionable.  I am still not convinced it is not legal, though I would not have shot it due to not knowing.  So....stinkbait.....don't stink up the thread (pun intended) and let's have civil conversations so people can learn.

Yeah, great pics and poll.  Good discussion.

This goes to show that snap decisions can get a guy in trouble.  Honest mistakes can happen.........this photo and poll proves that.
May I always be the kind of person my dog thinks I am.

Here are a few more pics for discussion.

First picture shows how I may be inclined to measure the longest side to the main beam.  Pretty vague law / description.

Second picture shows the small kicker / notch in this bucks horn.  Definitely not an inch long.  I would like to see this buck next year to see how he grow.

Was working in the shop yesterday and remembered this thread after looking at a rack I have. Here is a Picture of the "small" point if it was webbed in like the photo here I contend it would make the over one inch requirement. the other side was an obvious three and that is why I shot him, but imagine my surprise when I walked up and could only see the fork and not the small point under.  :yike:
