Snow Drifts
« on: December 18, 2008, 08:13:26 PM »
Does anyone know how bad the drifts are around winchester wasteway on the dirt roads between fields? Are they passable or not a good idea to try to go on?

A jobsite in Royal City only got an inch and most of it melted away in the sun. Talked to the owner this morning. He said the snow is almost totally gone. Happy

Alright thanks for the info. Do you think the Winchester Wasteway is where there is good moving water?

There may be a couple open spots...follow the creek channel to find huntable water..ducks can get scarce out there when almost all the water is solid......

I can't imagine that even slow moving water is open over there.....The Yak is completly forze over in some places and so are most creeks up out of the water.

Well I guess we will have to be prepared to break ice and hope there are some ducks still in the area.
