I might add that Ed is great craftsman and I'm sure if he had access to backhoe he would build better golf course then in Augusta ,GA in no time  :chuckle:

Lokidog did this for me too, and I believe he has shown this kind of hospitality to a number of others as well.  Picked me up in Anacortes in his boat, put me up in his house, got me on a deer, helped me dress it out, and sent me home with some meat from his freezer as well!

Ed is a first class kinda guy, I think his karma bank account balance probably makes him a "karma 1%er"!

Cap, congrats on your first deer!  Excellent table fare right there!
“If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, go home from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that ye were our countrymen.”

Absolutely fantastic hearing stories like this.  I have not hunted the last 3 seasons due to neck injury but reading these stories makes it ok. Great job to everyone involved.

Good work and good on him! Sounds like it was a guided hunt at a hunting lodge.... at no cost! Sounds like he's living the good life!
