I believe Happy Gilmore is a Chessie guy?
I have a chessie, but she came from back east. Her breeder is still in the business, but his waiting list is long and the pups ain't cheap.

Take care in picking out a chessie. Most decent breedings run about $1,000. Sign up for team Chesapeake. good place to ask questions. The regulars on the page are the best of the best when it comes to breeders and folks who run competitions with their dogs. No BS goes unchecked like most other sites.

They aren't alot on paper. The bitch is from a breeding to Ben which is a good producing stud. "Ben is also the sire of a Dual Ch. & AFC, and 2 AFC’s, all of whom are litter mates, in addition to 9 other Qualified All-Age Field trial dogs. Ben has passed his talent, marking ability and drive on to Molly. Molly is an exceptional marker in the field and a natural retriever." The sire of my young bitch is one of Ben's 9 qualified all age children. Also to note, there are only TWO living Dual Champion retrievers in ALL of the world. Ben was bred to Yakity which is a Dual CH and Yakity x Ben made Comet, the other living Dual Ch. (these are FIELD CHAMPIONS not fu-fu show CH's) The sire is Kathy's breedings. She doesn't do much of any field work but, I've seen a few of her dogs and her older dog back in her lines made some good gun dogs I've been around.
These should be good looking dogs, appropriate bird drive and most importantly for a chessie, mentally sound.

Russel has a nice upcoming litter:
CH Qual Run's Two Buck Chuck QAA X Chisholm Trail's Crossfire Sophie JH**
Chuck's clearances
(Ch Quail Run's Rocket Man MH WDQ*** x **** Quail Run's Surf's Up ***)
Hips: Excellent
Elbows: Normal
EIC, DM, PRA: clear
CERF clear and will be repeated next week.
Sophie's clearances
(WW Button's "Sly" Macgregor*** X Crossfire's Genuine Citori***)
Hips: Excellent
Elbows: Normal
EIC, PRA: Clear
DM: Carrier
CERF clear
This litter has the potential for trial prospects as well as upper level hunt test dogs and great gun dogs. Sophie will be running trials this fall and already has a qual 3rd finish in limited events. She also has a master pass although I am not actively running her in hunt tests to focus on trials. Chuck has an open 3rd and 4th, amateur 4th and multiple jams in both stakes. He also has a qual win and is a breed champion.
Both dogs have great temperament and good training attitudes.

Thanks for the replies! I have been really looking into cle elum chesapeakes, They just bread their bitch and I am in love with her!! Tried doing some back ground checking (bloodlines) on a male that I bread my bitch with to see if by any chance they are some how related! The male was from quincy. But AKC will not let me look at the blood lines
Without paying!
Here are a couple two pics first are from Cle Elum chesapeakes and the others are my two sadly the lighter one got hit bya car last fall and the mother has just reached her end

Chessieinfo.net and entry express is all you need for pedigree research. AKC doesn't provide a. Search engine. Entry express shows the performance history in the important hunting / trial venues. If someone says they have performance breedings, look up their claims to make sure it isn't just sales talk
