Late Swakane or Manson Archery Bucks
« on: November 25, 2014, 01:39:31 PM »
Spent a couple of days in each unit, saw some really nice bucks just wasn't able to get within range.  Had two trail cameras up and opted to go to one of the spots Saturday morning, when I went and checked my other trail camera there was stud of a buck on the camera that morning that would have walked within 15 yards of my make shift blind, talk about a heart breaker.

The amount of people in the units was unbelievable so I gotta believe somebody knocked something down.

Anybody hauled anything out of either of these units yet?

I'm not going to give up a particular spot but I was wondering, in the swakane there is certain roads that get real icy, can quads be used on those side roads?  Thanks

I thought if they were street legal they could be used in the Swakane.

Some of the roads in Swakane even if they are not gated have signs that say no motor vehicles
The mountains are calling and I must go

I was talking about roads that you can drive on normally, not any gated roads.  I know some laws have changed with quads if they are street legal, which mine is not.  I need to talk to clem in Enumclaw to see what it takes to make it street legal and where exactly it's legal to ride.

Buddy almost lost his truck off the side over the weekend. Roads were gnarly as usual.

" In today's instant gratification society, more and more pressure revolves around success and the measurement of one's prowess as a hunter by inches on a score chart or field photos produced on social media. Don't fall into the trap. Hunting is-and always will be- about the hunt, the adventure, the views, and time spent with close friends and family. " Ryan Hatfield
