Cabelas euro hd binos vs vortex razor hd
« on: September 14, 2014, 05:39:27 PM »
Was in Cabelas the other day and asked to see the razor hd which i haven't looked through the sales man gave them to me and then handed me the euro hd to compare them i said the razor was much brighter and he said i was wrong! excuse me iam the customer this lead into a debate about binos and it went on for about 10 min. Lets say i wasn't impressed with his customer service at all, he realy pushed the euro hd like they where the best bino out there!!! His lack of info on binos and customer service was very disapointing to argue with a customer when i was in the mood of buying some new binos and could of bought the razors right there. Not from cabelas now will look other place to buy from. Like to hear some info on the two binos from people that have tried them out or have them personal.

I have a set of the Euro HD binos that I picked up in the bargain cave at a good price. They're pretty nice, especially for the $600 I paid. The Razor HDs are better though in every category to my eyes.

I've never been impressed with the quality of service or the knowledge of the staff at Cabelas. It seems like they believe that since they work the counter at the sporting goods store, they must be an expert.

I've made a couple purchases from Paul too and I will certainly buy from him again.  Great prices, prompt service and a good dude.

Very Impressed with the Vortex Viper HD 10x42 - $600 .  Just spent two weeks looking through them - got them because they were significantly lighter than the Cabelas Euro and Vortex Razor and seemed at least as sharp.   I'm running a Swarovski HD wide-angle 20-50 spotter and these bino's are a great complement.

My brother just took a delivery of new Leupold BX4 McKinley. Man, it is bright and sharp.  It is definitely better than Razor HD when we put them side by side.

Compared them head to head for a week and the Cabelas Euro 12x shows a lot more detail than the Vortex Viper 10x though the Viper is much lighter.

I have used the Euro HD for a couple years now and don't have a bad thing to say about them......I absolutely love them and they are used for the most part every single weekend.
