Trapper 88, Turner89, and E-man32's trapping thread 2014-15
« on: November 28, 2014, 08:31:18 PM »
This is our 2nd year of cage trapping, and are still figuring things out. We've had a little success with 2 beaver, and 14 muskrats so far.
We skinned and stretched our second beaver on our own. this beaver must have been a fighter.......he had a few bite marks on him. Either that or we got a little carried away skinning, and fleshing :chuckle: We learned a few things on this one, and can't wait to get a few more to redeem ourselves. please critique our work on the beaver if you can see anything in these pictures.

The beaver is scored in a lot of places. I predict you will get better at skinning. All you need is practice.

Things have been a little slow on our trap line the last week. I did get this opossum in my coon trap. Ugly sucker :chuckle:

Today was a good day! I trapped my first otter today.  I can't get a rat to save my life right now though :chuckle:
