« on: January 17, 2015, 08:29:19 AM »
For any AR pistol owners out there...

http://www.atf.gov/sites/default/files/assets/Firearms/FirearmsIndustry/open_letter_on_the_redesign_of_stabilizing_braces.pdf

As luck would have it I have one shipping now.  Add another $200 to the bill.......

My interpretation of the letter is that as long as you don't "redesign" the stabilizing brace to use as a shoulder stock you should be fine. Use it for the intended purpose and you won't have a problem. :twocents:

The key wording here being, second to the last paragraph.

"Any person who intends".

It's all fluff, broad definition there. Heck, the current administration has been running the country for years with "Broad definitions" and the fact they control the definition. :chuckle:

 Good point. :chuckle:
The things that come to those who wait, may be the things left by those who got there first!
