My niece's first deer
« on: November 30, 2014, 03:19:30 PM »
My niece Riley, shot her first deer last week!  She got her deer in Idaho on her grandma's 30 acres.  Her dad and her were in a blind for a couple hours when this spike stepped out of the woods, it has been a tough season over there for them.  This was the only buck they had seen for a few days, with one shot the deer dropped in his tracks.  120  to 130 yards with her .243 and the freezer has meat!  Congrats Riley!  They were hunting just north of coeur d'alene.

I forgot to mention the drop tine, she didn't shoot it in the head that is how it grew.
