That is some good looking work! Got a feeling that involves a bit more artistic ability than I have.
its really not hard. Think what colors you want then start with the details slowly. Lets say you want a tan back ground with light brown, grey, dark brown, and maybe some green foliage. You paint the hole rifle the color of your finest details first(after primer) then wrap with the stencils, I use alot of string like yarn or heavy fishing line, then paint the next detail color.  Then when just dry to the touch add the next layer of stencil(either nor string or rope or split masking tape) then paint next dtail color. This is often when I start tying on the plastic plants. Few at first, I like dark olive first, then paint again, kaki or light green. Adds more plants then paint the back ground color. After it's just dry enough to handle(don't rush it but don't wait till completely setup) and remove all stencils and string.  If you want this is the time to clear coat but I normally don't cause it makes it shiny. I like flat colors best.

synthetic stocked '06 I did for a friend, had "UGLY" knife carving on buttstock. so I used a "crinkle" finish paint to cover and fill after sanding as I would have had to sand very deep to get rid of carving. then used krylon camo colors and real leaves from my yard, he loves it and it was cheap re-do. want to do my 22-243 in white with black coyote prints mixed with gray bobcat prints for a snow camo pattern.

Yup it works now.   I couldn't figure out how to get to your gallery from my phone. Thanks for sharing.  I like the orange in there. I been playing with orange in my camo a little bit, makes it a little easier to see. A friend always teases me about possibly loosing my rifles if I set one down.

this was a quick job after work. Just some rope and an old fishing net. I'll post a better reply shortly lol

its hard to find good fake plants for camo. Best I found was at a pet shop for terrariums. Smaller leaves look good and as you added more in layers it starts to gather a little bit of color here and there and adds depth.
Spend as much time taping as you do painting. What I mean here is your paint job will only be as nice as your tape job. Cleaner and tighter your lines are the better it will look. Use a sharp razor knife to clean up your tape

I love using rope or other thick stencil material cause when you spray the thick stuff catches paint differently than all tape stencils. Adds depth and blends some colors. Remember you paint in the for ground first and work to the back ground. I.e. You fist stencils will be in front followed be each additional layer of stencil
