« on: December 01, 2014, 08:13:37 PM »
Just putting a feeler out there to see if anyone had some success in the unit thus far? Hunted Fri,Sat, and Sunday and not even a decent set of tracks to be found. Planning on going up Friday and Saturday again to try an bag one. Any and all help would be much appreciated!

Did you try up on Cle Elm ridge where it runs down towards the river?

I'm likely headed up in that area this weekend so I'd appreciate hearing what you found in terms of snow and elk sign if you don't mind.

Snow wasn't to bad it was fairly light, and like I said I didn't even cut a decent set of tracks and everyone else I had talked to was in the same boat. I'm going to try around redtop not sure where they are, wouldn't think that the light snow would push the out already.

The elk are low.  Never seen any up high.  But 400 -500 in a herd down low
I kill elk and eat elk, when I'm not, I'm thinking about killing elk and eating elk.

RT is obviously not referring to the Teanaway when talking 400 to 500 in a herd down low or he is full of himself. lol

No worries RT just didn't want Athomas thinking he was missing out on 400 to 500 cows bunched up in the Teanaway  :)
