Nice find - looks like this years? Maybe a late November shed, that's pretty early,

Nice! I'd bet that's from last winter. It's too early for them to be shedding already. I found a blacktail shed last year the first week of November that looked just about like that. I know it had been laying there for about 9 months.

Yeah it had been there awhile as the inside was lighter with some moss.

Yea, that makes better sense - I've never heard of one falling off in late November either,

 A guy on a crew I was working with found a shed that looked almost identical , except no crab claw on the back . Im guessing same general area, defenatly not same deer as this was a few years ago . Cool and distinct genetics with the long sweeping main beam and no points .
