Oh yea, I bought my Idaho Spring bear tag yesterday!!  Idaho here I some next spring!!!!   :IBCOOL: :IBCOOL: :IBCOOL:  I need a western mountains fix!

awesome! Ill probly end up hunting bears there also. Already have the license and was thinking about trying an area with discounted bear tags. Whag dates are you looking at?

Depends on how much snow the mountains get this winter.  I'm kind of hoping for a average or less than average snowfall for the Avery, ID area.  If that happens, probably the last week in May.  Maybe even move it back towards the middle of May.  I have a couple of areas I can fall back if there is too much snow where I want to go.  Also will depend on how many slides in the area I want to go.  Going to go with my middle son.  Really looking forward to it.

Sounds good to me once we get closure we will work out a plan.  Hopefully I or someone in my family is holding the moose tag next year!!

i was thinking about going to unit 10a for spring bear, did a couple days of whitetail hunting and seen a lot of bear sign and talked to a local who had they have killed some nice ones.

Definitely doing ID ( Clearwater area)  or NW MT for bear this year.

Fred you have some big bear in the national forest south west  of you in Virginia

Ill be hunting spring bear in unit 1 unless i draw my spring bear tag here.  Went over in may this year and have been kicking myself in he ass for not having brought my rifle and a bear tag.

id hunt closer to the end of May early and mid may is very spotty and not real good in alot of areas.
