Hey guys I have an older Contender Pistol and am wondering if they make a stock for them to make it into a rifle. Wanting it for trap line and maybe my 9 year old can shoot it with the right stock. Thanks
Barrel length minimum is 16". Not a Montana thing, a federal law.
on the buttstock I got directly from T/C it says right on the buttplate/pad embossed on it, do not use with barrel length less than 16", I may still have that buttplate since I replaced it with a recoil pad. I'll look when I get home later.
That is 100% correct.
So I have a 14inch barreled contender. As long as I put a stock on it greater than 12 inches I would be ok?(total length greater than 26)

He can put a pistol length barrel on it as long as it doesn't have a shoulder stock on it. Once it has a shoulder stock on it, it's a rifle.
