Legs are not long enough for a wolf.  Big coyote though.  Dominate male based on his body language and size.

I wouldn’t mind having his pelt tanned or made into a rug but so far I haven’t been able to get a shot at him.

Definitely coyote.   been  cutting alot of tracks this year. Most coyotes I've been cutting are running in pairs.  I'm thinking its just the alpha's traveling together. Lots of scratching going on.
