Whitetail rattling now?

Heading up for a last try for archery whitetail and was wondering if anyone had thoughts on rattling this time of year. God bad or just a stupid idea

 :yeah:   I do the same with elk and moose. 

I'd keep it soft, less aggressive.  Tinkle tips so to speak.
