Pine Nuts
« on: December 08, 2014, 03:07:29 PM »
How many of you harvest, and or buy Pine Nuts and roast and eat them?

My Dad always sends me a few pounds from Northern Nevada when I'm on deployment.

Nothing better than roasting them and cracking and eating them, but 99% of people look at me like I'm crazy!

I've been enjoying them for years, first from cones that my mother got at the flower shop she worked for. Now we buy them for special meals or just to eat.
