That's why I don't use fb.  To many fakes .  Antis saying they are pro.  I wouldn't believe anything you read on there.  I passed a bull at 10 yards two years back,cause when he swung to run and stopped, all I could see was his head and a little neck but I passed.  Neck shot right behind the ear would have been a super high percentage shot.  30-30 with iron sights have killed millions of deer by shooting them in the neck. On the run.  Lots Of deer are dispatched every year w a low ear/neck shot.  The neck is the same size as the head and very close so if you have a head shot the neck is most of the time visible.  As far as doing any of this with a bow the odds decrease dramatically and so do the times it happens.  Probably for dispatching wounded game mostly.

Yeah, its been noted.   As much as we need spirited discussions  amongst us a pattern of pitting sportsman against sportsman is not generally what we want to encourage.   Maybe there are different motives, but it is being noticed.

This year I had a pretty nice 6x6 ( 300+) at 32 yards I was at full draw for 2 minutes all I had was a head shot. Now I shoot a 80# bow and put broad heads I. Playing card at 60 as my standard. Taking the shot never even crossed my mind. Could I have put a arrow in that things eyeball , yup at that range a elks head is a huge target but that's not how you archery hunt . Seeing animals with arrows sticking out of there heads is just another sign of the breed of hunter there is these days . Killing and making sure you can get pics up in Facebook and hunt wa take precitence over ethics

If I was a slob hunter I would have filled my tag by now ..1st day out I see a dandy 4x4 laying in some alder and looking dead at me at 25 yrds ..I had a perfect in the face shot ..some would have seen the rack and let one fly hoping to get lucky ...A seasoned bowhunter has more respect for the animals he hunts and if you do not then your what I call a SLOB HUNTER ! Most bowhunters from old school know that a bow has its limitation and going beyond them is just idiotic ....

Just saw a trail cam video of a blacktail buck with an arrow sticking out of its head. I read posts from guys stating that elk and deer are taken this way all the time. This seems a bit on the irresponsible side of thinking.
