camo make-up. who wears it?
« on: December 11, 2014, 01:00:12 PM »
Was having a conversation on camo face paint and was wondering who wears it and how often.  I,normally only put it on opening day of early season elk.  Lets see you,make-up job.

I feel it's my most valuable price of camo...face paint in September

I usually don't take selfies but just know my paint job is way better than yours  :chuckle:

I used it during duck hunting and sometimes for early archery. I don't like masks or anything that can impede view or hearing so face paint is the next best thing.

I usually just burn a wine cork and use the "charcoal" as paint. It works pretty good and is easier to wipe off than paint. Only really use it for ducks and turkey though.

cant stand to have it on my face, just bugs my skin. most people that i see with it use it so sparingly their faces still glow. I use a really light and loose mask if the situation calls for it.

None for me. Got fed up with scrubbing it off, sweat dripping and burning my eye sockets, or into my mouth and tasting it. Now I just wear a neck gaiter and pull it up when stalking. Much easier.

Still keep some around because the kids like to get into "ninja" mode before heading out.  :chuckle:

I hyperventilate with the scarves over my mouth/face.. can't do it. So yea I camo up usually, gotta blend in my pale face somehow lol..

Hunting alone, not seeing anything and playing the waiting game? Take a selfie  :chuckle:

I wear a balaclava... This is so I don't have to worry about sweating the stuff off, or walking into a store looking like a dork, when you forget to swipe it off.
