camo make-up. who wears it?

Have your woman go buy you makeup wipes, even the toughest stuck on paint doesn't hold up to some Neutrogena makeup wipes  trust me. They are in a blue package, they have travel size little packages so you can keep in your rig to wash off your face after your hunt is over.

Those of you saying grow your camo, yea, another reason why I have to use the paint.

As much as I hate to admit it and will probably get flamed for it but I use those to remove my face paint. The kind I use will not run in the rain, from sweat, wiping with my arm etc. I was getting sick of rubbing my face raw with soap and a wash cloth and my mom told me to try her makeup remover. A few wipes with the little cloth things and my face was clean. Sold!

Smossy steals mine (he won't buy them) but I tell any guy I know to suck up your pride and get these. They are AMAZING, especially if you have water-resistent paint like you've experienced. This stuff is created to remove the most tough, stuck on water-proof mascaras  so it'll take that paint off like nothing. It feels softer than baby wipes too.

The one I use looks like this and you can buy it anywhere, it's located by the face washes, there are a lot of different ones but I just prefer this

I have always used baby oil to remove makeup, mascara even grease paints used in stage makeup its cheap babyoil and cotton balls, even removes the most stubborn waterproof mascara.  For those who dont want to shop in the womens makeup section

I can't stand greasy baby oil on my face, I shuddered just thinking about it lol but yea that works too. I just don't want to remove something off my face by putting something else on it is why I love em

That's what I use. I keep them in a ziplock on top of the package they come in. One package has last me a few years

babywipes are possibly safer the formaldehyde in the makeup removers and other chemicals if not rinsed off are considered carcinogens, dermatologists recommend essentially washing your face after using them. The baby oil comes right off in the shower.  I usually removed makeup and hopped in shower so was never an issue.

but I shall bow out seeing as I dont use makeup myself and I am not a bowhunter just trying to save a guy a few bucks lots of peeps have mineral oil or babyoil around.

Removing camo is easy without all the wipes and fufu stuff.  Just add shampoo to a wash cloth.  I use Dead Down Wind Hair and Body soap most of the time, but have used many different shampoos over the years and all seem to work the same.  Dawn dish soap and Dial bar soap work good too, but dries out skin.  Rub it on in the concentrated form.  Scrub a little and then fully rinse.  Haven't found a camo product yet that won't easily wash off this way.

OK, just so I got my shopping list straight:

I need:
Makeup to put on
Baby oil to get said makeup off
Makeup wipes to get the baby oil off
Maxi-pads for the first aid kit for when I cut myself opening the wipes
Super-hydrating Lotion for the dry skin caused by the makeup and soaps
Panti-hose for ultralight long johns because it's gonna be cold out
Bright nail polish for the front sight in case I actually get a shot

Can you imagine the looks I'd get if I stopped at Fred Meyer in Issaquah on the way home from work to get this stuff before a hunting trip? Sheesh.  "Oh, hang on sir, before you ring that up, I was supposed to get some cucumbers and pepperoni sticks for camp, too.  I'll be right back."  I'd be on youtube in a matter of seconds from somebody's phone.

If you stopped at Issaquah...no body would notice!  Only thing folks in Issaquah would find odd is that you hadn't bought your anal lubrication too.

Deer can totally tell you're human, but with cover scent, and face paint, you can stand there perfectly still, and deer are all like.... what the? gives you more time.


this picture was at end of hunt.... all sweaty is why I'm shiny. I can assure you, that while walking the woods, I was invisible!   lol

I shouldn't say never, but rarely do I wear it. I've never had an elk spot because of a bare face or hands. The last elk I stuck was while wearing a short sleeve camo shirt and no face paint or mask. Kind of reassured me that if you don't move, they don't see you.
