Thinking of getting an R25 in either 243 or 7mm08. Anyone have any experience with either?

I have had several. Switch out the stock and the grip and you will have a nice rifle. They are a little heavy but that is common with the AR10.

What stock and grip would you recommend?

I run ergo grips on most builds. Then either Magpul or luth-ar. They are newer but I like there stocks for the money.

The R25 is a camo dipped DPMS LR-308.  Now that DPMS has switched to their second generation 308 platform you can get some very good deals on the first gen (same as the R25) .243, .260, and .338 Fed DPMS guns.  A bunch of them hit the market about 3 weeks ago and you could get them for under $800 shipped. I grabbed a .260  Lite Hunter.  That may be the end of them but you may want to consider them since it's the same gun.  I have had a bull barrel .260 and lite hunter in .338 prior to this and have been pleased
