nope, it really shows how a head mount is nicer and picture doesn't do it justice... I didn't get the right shoulder mounted.. here is the camp pic of the one on right for more perspective...

yes they are... and I will tell you, I didn't get this one mounted as I had seen thru the years several in the area that were bigger... they are out there..... timing is everything.. this one was 3 days into the no trespassing ban on all timber lands due to fire threat a couple years back that lasted from before archery into rifle season.. he made the mistake of not going into nighttime mode for seasons....

Very nice. I always seem to find my bucks fairly close to home in areas that most people drive/walk right past. Either the areas don't get hunted because the brush is too thick or people don't think the bigger bucks hang around the more populated areas. :dunno:

I took a bunch of photos of this deer in velvet in July 2010, Hunted the same area during modern firearm, and took this other deer, 145-5/8
Anything can  be accomplished with Brute Force and Ignorance!
