I'm still on the chase! Have access to a little piece of Whidbey Island where I'm hoping to get a blacktail in the last few days of the season. We'll see.

Bummer! I have been passing on doe until now. If I see one I will try to bag it. I might have held out too long though lol. My luck I won't see a deer. Probably see a ton of animals out of season but at least I will get some exercise and some great views.

Been going almost every weekend, I haven't been seeing anything which makes it harder to shoot something!

I didn't even see a deer the last weekend I was out. It was nice and foggy and I kept imagining this monster buck slowly walk out of the fog but it never happened.

Passed up on a doe and a dink spike in the past week (627). Just moved my trail camera today and going to go back to check in a few days. Coming down to the wire. Good luck everyone.

I am starting to wonder/doubt my spot in 407 for late season. If anyone has any late season recommendations/hint please share, I might be getting desperate lol.

Jkthomps, The 407's been hot the last few days. The rain and cooler temps help. I Tagged out on X-mas eve. Stay positive and get out in the nasty weather and thick reprod.

Hey, for those of you still heading out and in the south pierce county area looks like we are getting a second late rut. Last night when I got home three bucks were harassing this poor little doe. On my way out the door this morning there was only one buck with her, but he was being quite the gentleman by coming up on her back for a few seconds to warm her up on this frosty morning.
