RIP DAD
« on: December 18, 2014, 11:17:36 AM »
Yesterday I got the phone call everyone dreads to receive. My dad had passed away. He went in for a weight loss surgery Monday morning and was found in his hotel room yesterday morning peacefully in his bed. They believe he had went to sleep and just stopped breathing. I'm at loss for words. I just lost my friend, my hunting partner and the man I am proud to call my father. Just doesn't feel real, I keep waiting to hear my phone to go off just to look and see a text message from him saying he's good and on his way home. I'm not ready for this, I haven't been able to make you a grandfather, we haven't gone on that family out of state hunting trip yet, I can't lose you yet dad. Everything feels like a horrible nightmare that I can't wake up from. I love you with all my heart!!!

So sorry to hear that.  I lost my Father a year ago.  Fortunately for me he was almost 95 and had him with us for longer than we could have hoped.  Sorry to hear you lost him so soon.

Sorry to hear the sad news about your dad.  It is a tough thing.  I miss my dad every day, especially at hunting camp.

So sorry Scott. That's horrible.
