Anyone still out hunting?
« on: December 18, 2014, 04:54:25 PM »
Just curious if anyone is still out giving it a go? I have the multi season tag this year and haven't been able to get it done yet. Heading out this weekend in gmu 454 to see if i can get my first Blacktail before the season ends. This will be my last couple weekends hunting in WA state as I'm being transferred down to San Diego in March. I think I'm down to luck now! Really want to get one before I have to move!

Good luck to you.  I burnt myself out and didn't hunt late muzzle elk at all for my home GMU.

Both my boys have late cow tags for Teanaway, we'll be hunting Saturday and just about everyday after that until end of year unless we get a couple.

I was thinking about posting the same question as I too have a multi season deer tag in my pocket.  If I make it out, what are some good late archery black tail tactics?

Not all, but I do have a few friends that were lucky enough to win this year.

Until WDFW limits the number of tickets one can purchase (likely never going to happen) you shouldn't be surprised that there are repeat winners year to year. ;)
