I have a s & w body guard and the trigger pull is terrible. you pull and pull and then it shoots without warning. any one else have this problem? the trigger pull is so long it is hard to shoot the gun. is this a common problem or did I get a lemon? how do you fix it? thanks , mike w

I agree it is terrible. The gun is only double action which causes the tough pull. I think it is like that for safety. I don't know if it can be improved. Good luck!

sounds like it is a standard feature. You could redesign it to have a shorter pull, but it would be a heavier pull; or longer pull but lighter. Your pull has to advance the cylinder and cycle the hammer, and possibly a few other features.

About the only thing to really do is get the internals polished up real well and maybe replace a spring with a lighter one (but that may cause other issues like light strikes on the primer).
