How many trail cameras do you own?
« on: December 29, 2014, 09:15:31 PM »
Just curious as to how many cameras most of you guys have on hand. I consider myself to be a bit of a trail camera addict. I had 6 for a long time, but over the last few months have stocked up with holiday deals and now am up to 15. Have had 2 stolen since I started using them about 3 years back also.

One.  I just put it out 2 days ago in a very promising location for my first soak.  I'm planning on switching the SD card this weekend to see what's in the woods.

If I'm not forgetting any, I believe I have 8 cameras that work properly, and 3 that work but not 100%. Two of those take pictures but the flash no longer works, and the other takes pictures just fine but the sensor is not sensitive enough, so animals have to be really close to trigger it.

Two that I just picked up from rosscrazy elk a couple days ago. Set them up within 15 minutes of getting home with them and next morning only showed three pictures.  I look awful in the dark.  lol

So now they are on a two day soak for testing on the edges of the yard with some chopped apple cores out (which were gone this evening). so hopefully when I get time to pull them tomorrow I will see if they are getting the deer I have pass through, my raccoons, or some other critter that likes the dark.  So we shall see tomorrow.

Three. Located tons of decent bulls for my archery elk hunt this year. Didn't kill my bull near any one of them  :chuckle:
