Rimrock Lake coyote
« on: December 30, 2014, 01:07:10 AM »
Caught this lone yote going down the middle of Rimrock Lake, White Pass when it was frozen over in January two years ago.  Nothing to sling out at him as my Sig .40 does not quite group quite well enough at 2-300 yds.  So once again I was stuck with shooting another critter with my Canon.

Traveling along minding his own business...

Stopped to look when I used a rubber band between fingers and blew to make noise as a makeshift call.. heck, it stopped him to look, so another trick to remember.  lol

If I am posting up too many pictures of things still living let me know, I will try to hold back my excitement of showing these critters to you.  I hope to have at least one coyote in the bag this week if I can get out for a bit the next two days between my wife's drs appointments.

There is no greater respect to have for wildlife than to harvest an animal fairly and use it's flesh to feed your family.  ~me
