Coyotes were faster than me
« on: December 30, 2014, 10:25:51 PM »
So I was out just doing a nice walk in the snow hoping to find something with all the tracks around, saw two yotes, but they saw me first so all I got was a quick view of their tails hitting the timber at mach ll before I could even think of lowering the camera to raise the AR.

Today was a bust for shooting anything, but the views again were spectacular.

Thought for sure I was witnessing the next mid air disaster.

I'm with you.  Camera hunting is the greatest way to extend your hunting into an year round sport.

Yep, spent most of yesterday wandering skid roads and clear cuts with 20# of camera gear and my AR slung over my shoulder.

Then I get to work this morning in Federal Way near 5 Miole Lake to find a big fat coyote behind the fire station listening to the neighbors dog barking.  He stood there while I went back in got my keys and got the camera out of the truck. Pictures of him to post Friday when I get home from working the 48.
