Utah man mistakes wolf for coyote oops
« on: December 31, 2014, 09:58:05 AM »
I was reading fox news today and at the bottom found the article.   This wolf left his pack in the northern Rockies and was shot by a coyote hunter a big oops! Yes of course it is endangered, another big oops!   Man im not sure what I would do!  I hope he gets just a warning for reporting his mistake.   Its obvious you should know the difference between the two species especially if you think wolves are around.  I for one would love to shoot one either an all white or all black one.

I guess this hunter didn't understand the shovel and shut up part of the three S's. No confession=no conviction with no carcass. My comment on this story was:No good deed will go unpunished if the government is involved. Better if he had just buried it deep and moved on.

Out of curiosity I'm wondering how much this is going to cost the hunter for doing the right thing. Granted he shouldn't walk but he shouldn't be bankrupted either  :twocents:
Hey! I'm not a complete idiot I have parts missing. Though sometimes I wonder.

If you want to make God laugh tell him your plans.

all the wolf lovers will raise enough issues to ensure he is made an example to the world....SMH hope the best for the guy

I give the guy credit for standing up to his mistake. There's a reason why the same government that is gonna prosecute this guy wiped them out 70 years ago. They have gotten so bad in N.E. Oregon that we quit hunting deer a few years ago and after this year we won't hunt elk next year there. I personally would like to shake the guys hand and do what I could to help him. It's to bad, it seems activist are over takeing us and ruling the courts. :twocents:
