My brother took one this year off a piece of public land we scout and hunt. We hunt it both muzzle and modern and were pretty sure to run into the owner at some point during the seasons. We did and gave it back to him.

Our thinking: On private land we would never touch it NOR even trespass onto the land to see it anyways. We have our own but dont use em. Would rather get out there and scout it. Gotta put work in son.
But if you are stupid enough to put a cam on public land without security or even an attempt to hide it, you dont deserve it. Dont like? Tough. Its the way we play it.

The way I play it is a guy that touches another man's property is in line for a good @$$ whooping. Don't like it? Tough. When you come to you can crawl your sorry behind back to your truck and head straight to the dentist to get your front teeth put back in your face. What a pathetic post and you sir, are what's wrong with some people these days.

:yeah: I couldn't have said it any better

As MtnMuley mentioned, it's a good thing it wasn't mine that you found.
Do you steal everything you find on public land that you find? Like people's cars, camps, etc? Or are you just stealing from other hunters so you don't have to worry about the competition?
Wow.
Pathetic.

Dave of TDG-Farms, it seems you wouldn't like it if your stuff were to be taken.......I wonder why you think it's fine for you and your brother to steal?

Gun in hand or not, me, I walk up to the dude and get my stuff back.

Big tough guy......
 :o

Apparently it's ok to be a thief but not ok to be the victim of theft.

:yeah: Man did you nail the call on this one.

Curly just blasted it off by finding that old quote from 2013 and now Jonathan_S has taken it to a new level. Almost spit my water out as I read his post.

Wow!  :yike:
Guess I never thought about this mentality coming from a fellow hunter. Strange, very strange.

So Dave of TDG-Farms......whats your opinion on tree stands? Fair game? What if they aren't secured enough for your liking? Between the two of you (brother that was mentioned in the theft) I bet you could always use a new stand?

Is this the brother that also steals?

Woody?

I see he has at least one buck pictured. Did he shoot it or "find it in the woods"?
