he's lucky he didn't steal the wrong persons trail cameras.
By taking whats not yours is a real good way to end up on the back of a milk carton up here. There are some straaaange cats up in these hills.

If I park my truck in the woods on public land I expect someone will take it. And that's okay! Obviously I didn't have it secured well enough, and if they give it back to me within a couple of months, it's all good!
I Agree I Guess all those camps are free for the taking now!  or my freshly killed Elk hanging in camp  I've always felt that there is Honor among Hunters and sportsman and for the most part never feel safer than when I'm in the woods. But I guess  in this new World We are all on our own.  But just remember to all the would be Thieves of cameras, trucks, tents,  supplies or Big Game Animals. I will treat you the same as I would  A burglar to my House and  that twig snap you hear might be me coming to check my stuff!

See, you guys up there would get better coverage if you put the pictures of missing persons on cans of Bud Lite and the backs of Skoal cans.  :)

I just read this full thread .... UNREAL!  Not only Dave, but those that find their own personal justification  :bash: :bash:

People that think it is ok to hurt others (physically, financially, etc...) are what is wrong in this world.  It is so simple - Do onto others...

Karma will get them.  It is how the world works.

Also, pack goats. Pictures are the same.

This guy is a piece of work. That last post was his justificaiton? Unreal. So tired of the excuse about being "abandoned" and not in use. What a BS excuse for thieves to justify their actions.

I don't condone taking anyone's trail cams or stealing anything for that matter, but I don't have any sympathy for individuals who complain about stolen trail cams on public property, private is a total opposite view. If you leave something of value on public property and expect it to be there when you return is not logical.  To a lowlife that fancy picture taker looks like a fifty dollar bill pinned to a tree!

I had 2 stolen this year. And I label them so folks will know they are not abandoned or forgotten. Not cool.

Over the years I have seen quite a few trail cameras in the woods and not once did I steal one.

Yup, it's not hard to just walk away and leave people's stuff alone, private or public.  Damn simple, and I don't expect my camera to be gone just because it's on public land.
“In common with”..... not so much!!

You are so right. Some people just don't get it. :bash:
