We had a great day on the ice yesterday. Met lots of good people and a few from Hunt-WA. Slow bite till about 11am and it turned on for about an hour and half. Got four limits of perch and a couple trouts.

Which fish lake were you at? I am pretty sure there are more than a couple that have ice.

Did the guys who fell through get out OK? That would make for a pretty sad trip.

Heard about the guys going through. No details on it. There is a solid 1" of blue ice then 3" or so of white. Pretty solid. You do need to watch where you walk. It is pretty obvious where not to. With it warming up it won't hold up vary long I would imagine. Need another good shot of cold air .

What was your bait of choice?

Warm maggots. Kept warm in lower lip of your mouth. They don't se em to bite that well with warm maggots from the upper lip?
