Called in a cougar today
« on: February 10, 2015, 07:32:13 PM »
On my first set today about six minutes in I glanced down at the remote to see how much time was left on the cotton tail in distress.  When I looked up there was a confused cougar sniffing the call which was about twenty yards away.  I was in total disbelief and pretty stunned.  When I cocked my 30/30 she busted me and decided to leave the party.

Next time I will have the shotgun and some dead coyote loads.

Many people have told my I wouldn't be able to call a cougar in.  I can't believe it happened on my third set ever!  Although I do scout alot it was pretty lucky.
