Just find it interesting that this piece of property has so many tresspassers every year.  Wondering why that is....and came up with a few plausible situations.   :dunno:

It's popular with hunters because it's Entiat and regularly full of bucks, and I will say it again, ITS POSTED ALL OVER THE PLACE, including where these guys are. There is no way to get to this spot without seeing the signs, and the cameras all well mounted.

A WDFW employee was caught in there yesterday, trespassing looking for sheds, in the middle of the day and obviously didn't give two *censored*s. He was confronted and told it was his one and only warning and to stay out or his superiors will be contacted next time. We have his name and know exactly where he works, so if you are reading this, next time everyone on here will know who you are too.

And for those looking for excuses, yes he admitted he saw the signs and knew it was private, yet came up with a lame ass excuse that he "was just going to cut through".

If you do not have permission then stay out, if you do not know if it's private or not, stay out until you do the research, it's not rocket science guys.

No need to get your panties in a bunch.....just ask a simple question.  It just seams like you have a  bigger problem with trespassers than most.  It appears that may be due to the area alone and the pure number of deer in that area.  I don't know....and my curiosity makes me question certain thing.  Just seemed weird....that there is not a simple explanation.....not justification but explanation.   :dunno:

Actually he should be held t a higher standard.   He's employed by us. Not to mention the hypocrisy of it all.

He is not the only government employee in this thread that has been caught, contacted, and been given a second chance. Everyone deserves one, let's just hope they realize how much they potentially have to lose if they do it again. ;)

WDFW almost never gives Sportsmen a second chance.  I would return the favor :)

Thats a fact!!

Why start a thread complaining and then do nothing?

No panties bunched up Jreb, but it's been clear for a while (post #62) that the area is well marked and in a big deer area. ;)

A WDFW employee abusing his privledge? Screw him...  He'd have no problem screwing you or me. You gonna get a free get out of jail card from him?

I know a lot of private in land with tons of deer that don't get this much attention from trespassers.   Maybe it is the apple orchard??  Maybe you have a rare specimen of apple that attracts trespassers...  Maybe it is the pot farm up valley making people crazy??  Or maybe?????  Something else???  My guess is some desirable public land that borders the orchard and people are trying to take the easy route vs hiking in the long way.  People are inherently lazy.  Again not justifying but more explaining why again you have a bigger problem than most.  If you don't identify the problem it makes it hard to fix the problem.  By the looks of this post it appears your problem doesn't get any better as time goes on.  This thread may rival the bigfoot thread as the years pass.  Lol!!   Anywhooooo.....I'm out.  For the record.....I hate trespassers!!

No Utah, but we only want people to stay out, I am hopeful that they have learned, no sense ruining someone's career unless they continue to ignore the law. :twocents:

I hear that, and since the people identified have been contacted, they have not been caught in there or on camera again, which is all we are trying to accomplish.

Apparently hunting deer and sheds just creates a chemical imbalance in the brain because trspassing is rampant in Entiat. :chuckle:

Utah.....wow!!!  Have you been on the receiving end of WDFW before.  I have had pretty positive interactions with them and applaud huntnphool for allowing second chances.  Sometimes people make mistakes and just need to be humbled to get back on the right track in life.

Nothing but positive things to say about the officers I have talked to in the field, in this state or any state for that matter.

Actually no I have not.  And I've no further comment as Jackelope has sent me a message telling me that I'm out of line and about to get banned...

Yup. Seemed pretty straight forward to me. I sent you a warning telling you calling people names was not allowed here.

" In today's instant gratification society, more and more pressure revolves around success and the measurement of one's prowess as a hunter by inches on a score chart or field photos produced on social media. Don't fall into the trap. Hunting is-and always will be- about the hunt, the adventure, the views, and time spent with close friends and family. " Ryan Hatfield
