Does anyone knows ? I'm confused as to their licensing guide doesn't have enough info and I don't speak lawyer  :chuckle:. It looks like you cannot buy general deer or elk license OTC ? only surplus ? If so when are they available for sale ? Any info is helpful . I hate reading the booklets and not know what the heck they are meaning .
Everyone thinks that I'm freak ,I don't look different do I ?

You apply for the regular non-resident licenses now until the deadline ( march ? ) and then if you don't get drawn then in late summer you can apply for surplus licenses.  Last few years there are surplus surplus licenses so you can get them over the counter.

Draw results come out mid April.  After the draw is over they will release all the surplus tags.  Really no need to waste money applying for a license unless your putting in for limited quota tags.
It is foolish and wrong to mourn these men.  Rather, we should thank god that such men lived.  -General George S. Patton
