6 1/2 weeks is to young to seperate, 8 weeks,Richard Wolters 7 weeks is Bullarky,weaning young creates clingy neurotics IMO,I've seen the outcome of it many times.What I would suggest and what I do when seperating pups from a litter is......... Take a bath towel  back to where you got the pup and rub down momma and the remaining littermates,the familiar scent of family will calm and make the pup more at home and secure,far less whining.Take a couple for when there is an accident.

Always nice when somebody pushes their OPINION as fact. Even better when they go on and say a guy that knows a thousand time more than they do on the subject is wrong  :bash:
