That new Ripcord has peaked my interest.
I will have at least one bow this year that has the new rest. I'm not a huge fan of lock down features at it affects the smoothness of a quick follow-up shot. That's the primary reason I left QAD years ago. But for those who rarely get second shots it does have it's benefits. I don't really have any reason to switch from the CodeRed, Hairy Hole, Hostage or the DOA. But, something new is always fun as long as it works without fail. And so far this rest is first class and very well built!
My Ace rest will have the older launch pad as again I often try to put a second arrow in the animal before I lose sight of him. I just feel quicker on the draw with the larger launch pad. I also feel as though it leaves greater room for error. Though I have talked with a good number of people that are shooting this new rest and I just may be the only one who thinks that way
