I've shot one in the past.  Now it sits in the gun safe along with a K Hornet.

Your results will depend on what twist rate barrel you used.  16 inch twist is a 45 grain bullet show.  Most everything heavier keyholes.

I have 2. I only shoot the newer savage. The other one is ancient and requires a special bullet and i dont wanna mess with it.   The one I shoot likes 10.6 grains of H110 and 35 grain v-max bullets. It likes 40 grain sierra hollow points more.  I haven't tried lil gun yet but will this spring. Its fun, and cheap if you reload.

Lil' Gun was made for the Hornet. Fill up the case and seat the bullet to the recommended COAL. At worst you will need to tweak the seating depth a little.

Great coyote gun.
I need just one more hunt and I'll be satisfied ... Really! Just one more...
