Time goes by so fast.  It will be four years this May when this little guy was born and now I'm riding him already! I so enjoy riding this young sweet colt. Anyone else getting out? Did our annual New Year's ride. (when the weather cooperates otherwise it is tack cleaning day) Hope others are getting out.  We plan to go to the Pasayten again in July and need to start getting the horses in shape! I plan to take my youngest horse this year.

Warming him up before mounting the first few times.

New Year's with my riding buddies!

Good looking colt there.
And I think God must be a cowboy at heart
He made wide open spaces from the start
He made grass and trees and mountains and a horse to be a friend
And trails to lead ol' cowboys home again

Nice!  We are getting ready to breed our mare. Last week we had to put down our old hunting/drill/roping/trail/sorting horse.  My daughter is hoping yo be hunting on our new mare by fall.
