Elevation Training Mask
« on: January 12, 2015, 02:29:53 PM »
At the risk of starting the eternal debate:

I would like to hear from those that have used the Training Mask and the outcomes:  Good, bad, and indifferent.
http://www.trainingmask.com/training-mask-2-0/

I would rather not have the opinions of those that haven't tried the product.

Whacker......was unfamiliar with this product until your post. Lots of reading in the review department on Amazon.

A bit more work but if you have access to a pool swimming will jack your cardio way up. I'm getting back into the pool after many years out it. Almost a month in only swimmming on weekends I've already seen improvements.

forgot to follow up in this

Had this mask for alil bit now....while it obviously doesn't reduce the oxygen it sure does make it hard to breath ! Il wear it doing random chores around the house on max resistance and find my self completely out of breath at times.....while exercising I use it on the min and middle settings...and still find my self gasping for air as if I was at high altitude

cons.....
it makes noise when you breath in and out....kind of annoying unless you wear head phones...in order to change resistance you have to completely change out the pucks...it would be nice if you could just twist them or something but the way they have it you get to keep track of the different pucks

Also people will get freaked out when your jogging passed them at night wearing this and a hoody....So avoid the potential pepper spray and jog away from the public

Are these safe to use? I've seen beast mode warm up with these pre game

Well I mean it kinda cripples your ability to breath so you could prolly get your self into trouble if ya have asthma
