Need neoprene wader repair, ideas?
« on: March 04, 2015, 06:46:18 PM »
So, I have a relatively new (4 years) pair of Hodgman waders that have a bad zipper, opened from the bottom and won't move anymore.  These are in really good shape other than this so I'd prefer not to have to buy a new pair.  It seems this is a good time to try to get them fixed for next year as my wading is done until next fall.

Does anyone know of anyone that does neoprene repair work?  I've checked with a local (Anacortes) dive shop and they don't do it.  I haven't called around, but figured I'd check here first.

Thanks.

Stuff like that is made to be disposable anymore. My guess is when you find someone to do it the cost will be a large chunk of a new pair.

Good luck on it, I would try to do the same. Might check with Hodgman and see if they can repair they. The factory is often cheapest anyway.
