Can you guys do custom inletting?

You have a Mark V 6 lug action of mine right now, I'd really like to put a manners stock on it but haven't found anyone who can do the inlet for me.

338LM question.

What is the optimal barrel twist for:

1.  adequate stability to get a 0.4 MOA group at 200 yards for 300 Grain bullets (eliminating bullet precession)?

2. ensuring adequate stability for the transition to subsonic flight for a 300 grain bullet?

I have a question about a remington 700.  After I purchased the gun, I noticed that when I lift up the bolt handle to cock the firing pin back, the firing pin comes back, but if I don't pull the bolt back as if I was ejecting a round, and just keep the bolt all the way forward, and lower the bolt hand back down, the firing pin goes back forward as well.  I don't know if that makes sense, I cannot figure out a better way to say it.  The bolt needs to actually be pulled back in order for the gun to be cocked.  I know that this isn't normal, I have other remington's that don't do that.  You can just lift up the bolt, and lower it back down and it will stay cocked.  It happens with the XMP trigger, and also the timney trigger.  I know that it is something in my bolt, because i put another remington bolt in my gun and it didn't do it anymore.

Any Ideas on how to fix?

For the .308 which factory load & bullet weight are the best match up for this cal.

He is insanely busy at Benchmark. They're pushing 4 months on full rifle builds, he can hardly respond to texts  :chuckle:

Yeah, crazy busy! My build actually took more like 4.5 months. Worth the wait though!

I've been tinkering on your sight, what would you charge re-barrel a rem 700 in a 22" medium heavy barrel do the action work and put a single color cerakote finish on the final product?
