If you would stay in the state long enough durring hunting season you'd be able to kill one

Here is the smallest posted so far...not sure they get much smaller....  :'(

My kids named this bear "boo boo"....

I think mine will be strong competition when it's done.  :chuckle:

When you are looking at your first bear in the crosshairs, they sure look bigger....  :'(

Unfortunately I wouldn't know and will have to take your word for it Ice. I have a less than 1% chance of drawing a moose tag again so I will have more time to look this year, assuming of course that I don't draw that sheep tag instead. :chuckle:

Thanks, shot him up between Salmon La Sac and the Mission unit, someone told me that there was a unique gene strain around that way...? Saw the exact same color on one hanging in a restaraunt in Cle Elum.....I dont know....too new to the bear hunt thing...

  Mine is so small  that i started telling people that the cat caught this one ,  sounds better than " I think they shrink alot at the tannery "  :chuckle:

Hides do shrink when they are tanned.  Taxidermists usually stretch them and done right they will return to their original carcass measurments.
