The funnies thing is that it looks like kfs bungie would have fallen off if the dog gave some slack! Maybe the pup liked dragging the trap around.  :chuckle: dogs do have a way of getting completely tangled in bungies or ropes. One of my shorthairs is still leary of extension cords after a run in with a vicious attack cord tying all his legs up!  :chuckle:

I'm liking that anchor drag!  I bet you identified that primary travel trail by the depth and color  :chuckle:
As long as we have the habitat, we can argue forever about who gets to kill what and when.  No habitat = no game.

Keep sharing KF; we enjoy it and the ones that don't can take a hike. I think they were just kidding anyway! It's hard to put a post on here that doesn't bring up an off comment but that won't keep me from posting or reading.

It is pretty bad. We should probably get an Initiative together to ban bungee cords.

I used my kennel as a drag once on my dog and it ran across the entire campground with it chasing it. He was scared to death why the big white thing was chasing him  :chuckle:

I started laughing just thinking about that.

I went catfishing once and a guy showed up a short time later and for some reason tied his lab to his big ol tackle box.  All the sudden the dog takes off, the tackle box is OPEN and it's spilling everything and the dog has his tail tucked tight and the guy is chasing him.  I could not stop laughing for quite a while.  He was over there picking up lures and sinkers and hooks forever!!

Trapping in Alaska for snowshoe rabbits ( not hares), fox and lynx, we used different sized cables and loops.  When we were within a mile of the village, we occasionally caught a loose sled dog.  They always sat and waited for us to release them.  My friend Hazel always knew whose dog it was and would tell them to keep it tied up.  She kept sled dogs, too, but they never left her yard because when they got loose they went to her door and she always fed them a treat before re-tieing them.  She said late one night one scratched at the door.  She had no treat to give it, so she popped corn at 3:00 am for the dog.  Sled dogs are used to being tied and don't fight the snares.
