There are some pretty good local options usually available at the WAC gunshows.

You can't get a good leather belt for 30 or 40 bucks, buy a Galco Cop belt and you wont regret it, there awesome, about 60 to 70 bucks.
I've had one that I use every day that carrys a concealed firearm for the last 10 years and it is still awesome, Buy once Cry once.

I got a gun belt from this guy after reading up on a concealed carry forum.  Expensive, but by far the best belt I've ever owned, perfectly supports any holster system from a full size auto on down.

I got the 1 1/4" dual layer bullhide with the internal stiffener, have been wearing it for 2-3 years now.
Ya that! If you need to carry a load and not feel it you need something like this. I carry my ruger Alaskan on a belt man belt. Distributes the load and makes it very manageable.

After reading this and looking at the site I ordered a new belt from this guy. It arrived at the door in less than a week, the fit was perfect as I followed his measuring directions, and the quality is great. It is the first quality "gun" belt I've gotten and so far it seems to make carrying a firearm more comfortable and less noticeable. It is stiff compared to the old Cabelas belt I was wearing, but it is also comfortable.
After wearing it for almost a week now I highly recommend the ones from this guy. He also sent a listing of belts he has that were mistakes or returns at discounted prices only available to those who order from him, there is one more I will be getting from that list.

i also finally broke down and ordered one from him today.  I had some difficulties ordering online so I called him.  He asked how I found out about him.  When I told him on a Washington hunting forum he said (wow thank goodness for the Internet).  Thought it was kind of funny.  Can't wait to get it.
