I took these pics on my annual fishing trip to BC last year.  This guy hung around the cabin for a couple of days.

It looked like we might have gotten away with that but none of us wanted to take the chance of scaring him and getting nipped on the hand.  I tried to talk my buddy into plucking that piece of grass off his forehead but he didn't have the courage to try. :chuckle:

They are cool, I've seen one a few times in the same area up by crystal mnt.  Scared my wife on her hunt last year, she didn't know what it was going to do!  :chuckle:

Fun fact. They like pizza.

Sorry for the glare, had to take a picture of the original pic that I had saved on an old lap top.

Between seasons I would walk the beach up in Bristol bay, lotsa foxes, and they will walk right up to you! Bend over to pick something up and you'll have a nose in your back! Zero fear of humans. Really enjoyed them!..

That's the only place that I've seen them! Watched one climb straight up a bluff with a salmon in its mouth. I saw another one that I swear the back legs were kinda coming off the ground because the salmon in its mouth was so heavy!

It's been quite a few years but I remember those lil guys being all over up at Friday harbor.

There are still quite a few out there.

Out at the Cape on San Juan they are really friendly, one of my guys had is sandwich nabbed off the tailgate out there.
He wasn't 5 feet away and the little bugger jumped up and grabbed it.
